
Researcher-in-Residence
Dr. Patrice E. Fenton joins MindCatcher as our Researcher-in-Residence. A leader in identity-responsive research, she is the Founder and Chief Thought Partner at the Fenton Collective. Dr. Fenton is an equity-centered change strategist, with expertise in leadership and staff development, teacher education, and centering wellness in the workplace. She has served as the Director of Leader Support & Development at Education Leaders of Color (EdLoC), a nonprofit professional network organization comprised of 350+ leaders of color across 30+ states. She is also the former Associate Director of NYC Men Teach at the City University of New York -- a cross-agency initiative that exceeded the city's goal of recruiting 1,000 men of color to the public school teacher pipeline within three years. Dr. Fenton is an adjunct assistant professor at Hunter College and a Board member of South Bronx Community Charter High School, the Latinx Education Collaborative and Disruptive Partners. She is also a proud former middle school educator, Brooklyn, NY native, and mom to son, Jair Asad, and daughter, Haile Masani.
